Andy Diaz is director and owner of Andy Diaz Personal Training Studio in the city of Costa Adeje, Tenerife.
Since childhood physical activity and sport have been part of his life. He turned his passion into his profession. Andy Diaz participated in various sports at amateur level, but excelled in Athletics where he became one of the best decathletes in Spain. At the age of 19 he won a Bronze medal in Decathlon at the National Championships and has been an elite athlete for 20 years. His greatest achievement was winning a Bronze medal at the 2005 Masters World Championships in Decathlon.
In 1996 he qualified as a personal trainer while carrying on as a professional athlete, now with over 25,000 hours of experience in the industry working as a personal trainer, sports specific trainer, athletic coach and working with all types of clients from around the world, with people that have a sedentary lifestyle all the way up to elite athletes.
His career has taken him around the globe, helping him to expand his knowledge by working with and in some of the best professional sports centers, in Britain (David Lloyd), Sweden (Sats), Denmark, Finland, Portugal (Ffittech), Spain and South Africa (Virgin Active). This was all possible thanks to his extensive experience, reputation and personality.
The Andy Diaz philosophy is to help people achieve their goals, maximizing the benefits with minimum risk, through proper personalized physical activity and education to assist the person to obtain a state of health and wellbeing in everyday life. This proven method helps make us more efficient at work, have more energy and thus achieving greater vitality throughout the years.
Andy Diaz Personal Training Studio was founded in 2010, where he and his coaching team continue this concept and philosophy. They apply these principles while using bodyweight, kettlebells, TRX, Electro, Speed Training, Functional Training and Explosive Strength work.
